As director of Medical Services at
Kudjip Nazarene Hospital in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, Susan Myers has been deeply involved with moving the hospital from its crumbling 1967 building complex to a brand new, seven-building medical center throughout the fall of 2009. Listen as Myers describes the complex task of moving equipment and patients to the new location November 4-6. 9 minutes, 46 seconds.

Having heard God's call to mission when she was 13 years old, Susan Myers dedicated her life to medical missions. Along with her husband, Jeffrey, and two children, Myers has served in Papua New Guinea since 2001. The disease and physical injuries that afflict people in Papua New Guinea, combined with the hospital's limited resources, can sometimes be overwhelming to the medical team, Myers says. Being part of the Nazarene community in Kudjip, and the prayers of friends and family around the world, support Myers so she can keep going. Listen as Myers discusses her moments of discouragement and joy as a doctor at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital. 9 minutes, 53 seconds.
