Engage magazine is the gathering place where you can join Nazarenes in 155 world areas in celebrating your part in God's mission story.

Register now so you can join the story today! Write and submit articles and essays about your mission experiences. Post pictures of your family or local church mission trips. Tell how God is working through your district's compassionate ministry projects. Write about your congregation's church planting and outreach struggles and victories. Interview a passionate local mission leader. Share about when you accepted God's call to a life of mission and ministry. Tell how a Nazarene mission effort helped you find new life in Christ.

How do I register?
Sign up for an account by clicking on the "LOG IN" button at the top of the screen. Provide your name, a valid e-mail address, then create a password that you will use each time you log in to this site. Type the numbers that you see below the password confirmation area, and click the "Register" button. The site will automatically send an e-mail to the address that you provided. You must click on the link within that e-mail to complete your registration verification. After that, you can log in and get started posting comments throughout Engage.

How do I contribute a story or other content?
If you want to contribute your stories or pictures to Engage, you will need to sign up for an account (see instructions above). After you have successfully completed your registration, click the link above to upgrade your status to "writer." This may take about 24 hours. Once we have approved you to write, the next time you log in you will see a new black bar toward the top of the screen. Click on "my stories" to begin writing, or create a profile for yourself!

What format should my photos be in?
Photos can be submitted as JPEG, TIFF, and BMP. The resolution should be 72 dots per inch (dpi), and the longest side should be no longer than 8 inches, or 20 centimeters. This allows for pictures to load quickly and easily for people who are reading Engage using a slow Internet connection or with dial-up Internet. After you have submitted a story, please e-mail to us any photos you would like included in the story. We will add those for you while we are editing and approving your story.

Will I get paid if I contribute?
Engage magazine is a gathering place for Nazarenes to tell our global family how God is calling and involving each of us in His mission for the world. As such, we do not pay for stories, photos, essays, or any other content that is voluntarily submitted. We look forward to reading your stories and seeing your photos, and we know others in our global family do, too!

What should I write about?
Anything, as long as it relates to mission. Personal essays, interviews, book reviews and articles are always welcome.

Photo essays are a great way to tell a story quickly and visually, with the aid of captions. You can e-mail your photos to us, along with detailed information for the captions, and the names of those who took the pictures. We'll create a photo essay under your name.

I'm not a professional writer.
That's OK! We believe your passion comes through best when you tell your story in your own words.

When you submit your story to our editors, we may help out by giving it a few polishing touches, or sending it back to you with a few friendly suggestions that will help you bring clarity to your story. And we're always happy to answer  questions on how to tell your story in a clear and compelling way.
